1. Definitions

• "Academy" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Samong Academy, operated from 64 Nimmanhaemin Soi 9, Suthep, Muang, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand.
• "User" / "You" / "Learner" — any individual who visits our website, submits an enquiry, or enrols in a program.
• "Service" — the AI development programs and related learning content offered by Samong Academy.
• "Content" — all course materials, videos, documents, exercises, and written communications provided as part of a program.
• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, enrolling in a program, or accessing any part of our website, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Our programs are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under the laws of Thailand.

3. Service Description

Samong Academy offers three online AI development programs:

• AI Fundamentals Course (฿1,600) — an introduction to Python, data handling, and machine learning
• Deep Learning Project Track (฿6,200) — guided neural network projects with live small-group sessions
• Portfolio & Mentorship Program (฿9,500) — a mentored project from planning to finished portfolio piece

Programs are delivered primarily in English. Sessions are conducted online. We reserve the right to modify program content in response to developments in the field, provided that the core learning outcomes remain consistent.

4. Enrollment and Accounts

Enrollment is confirmed once payment has been received and we have sent a written confirmation. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and keeping us informed of any changes.

Access credentials for course materials are personal and must not be shared. If you believe your access has been compromised, notify us at [email protected] immediately.

5. User Responsibilities

As a learner, you agree to:

• Engage with the course material honestly and make a genuine attempt at submitted work
• Not misrepresent your work as someone else's or submit work generated without meaningful personal input
• Not share, distribute, or publish course content without written permission from Samong Academy
• Treat instructors and other learners with respect in all communications
• Not attempt to access systems or data beyond what is provided as part of your program

6. Intellectual Property

All course content — written materials, code examples, exercises, and session recordings — remains the intellectual property of Samong Academy. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use this content for your personal learning purposes during the program period.

Work you produce during the program — including your portfolio project — belongs to you. We may request permission to reference your work (for example, in case studies) and will not do so without your written consent.

7. Payment Terms

All program fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are due before access is granted unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the enrolment process.

Refund policy: Requests for a refund submitted within 7 days of payment and before the program's first session will be honoured in full. After this period, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If a program cannot be delivered due to circumstances on our side, a full refund will be provided.

8. Course-Specific Terms

Program access remains active for the duration specified at enrollment. Extensions may be requested and are subject to instructor availability. Completion of a program does not carry an academic qualification or formal certification unless explicitly stated otherwise in program materials.

For the Mentorship Program, session scheduling is agreed between the learner and mentor at the start of the program. Missed sessions with less than 24 hours' notice may not be rescheduled.

9. Disclaimers

Our programs are designed to develop practical AI development skills. We do not make representations about specific career outcomes, salary changes, or employment results. Learning outcomes depend significantly on the effort and prior background of each individual.

The Service is provided in good faith and with reasonable care, but without any warranty of a specific result. Course content reflects the state of the field at the time of writing; AI tools and frameworks evolve quickly and some details may become outdated between curriculum reviews.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Samong Academy's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the program fee paid by you for the program to which the claim relates. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost earnings or data loss.

We are not liable for service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet infrastructure failures, force majeure, or third-party platform outages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samong Academy and its staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of course content, or violation of applicable law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to a program if you breach these Terms — in particular the conduct and intellectual property provisions. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

You may withdraw from a program at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 7. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us first at [email protected] so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally within 30 days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Samong Academy. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of our services after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.
